LENOVO LAPTOPS – THE MOST COMMON MALFUNCTIONS

– laptop doesn’t turn on, turn off itself or restarts/reboots constantly
– laptop beeps on startup or continuously and system doesn’t boot
– laptop turns on but no display (screen is black)
– laptop has artefacts (screen is all distorted)
– laptop works in low resolution, but VGA driver is installed correctly
– drivers cannot be installed properly (especially VGA drivers)

EFFECTIVE REPAIRS:

– REBALLING BGA CHIP (GPU, NB, SB, chipset, CPU) – possible with most ATI and Intel chips
or
– REPLACEMENT BGA CHIP FOR NEW ONE – this method is most reliable, we recommend it
or
– MOTHERBOARD REPLACEMENT FOR NEW ONE – when reballing or replacement chip is not possible
